Of the individuals who applied for CHI certification and took both the AHI™ written and CHI™ exams from September 2010 through December 2011, 74% passed both examinations. As of January 31, 2012, there are 225 Certified Healthcare Interpreters™ (CHI™) in Spanish. There are also 164 Associate Healthcare Interpreters™ (AHI™).

CCHI offers a credential verification system at the CCHI Community Center. This feature provides a searchable interpreter registry through which one can verify a healthcare interpreter's CCHI credential.
