As a continuation of October's webinar, we will focus on specific certification issues for interpreters who speak any of the following: the languages of recently resettled refugees; the languages of indigenous groups from Latin America; and languages of smaller ethnic communities in rural areas of the U.S. It is estimated that over 336 languages are spoken in the United States. Many LLD languages will be adapted to the oral performance test, but many will not. How do we ensure the professional development of interpreters of LLD beyond the AHI™ credential?
