CCHI has selected Mandarin and Arabic as the next two languages for
its Certified Healthcare Interpreter™ (CHI™) oral performance examination.
6/2/11 Registration Open: FIT XIX World Congress—Bridging Cultures
Registration is now open for this summer’s International Federation of
Translators XIX World Congress—Bridging Cultures, August 1-4, 2011
in 
San Francisco, California. The Congress, which is held every three
years, offers a unique focus on international and intercultural translation
and interpreting. Events and activities provide plenty of time for networking
and socializing. The Congress is being organized and hosted by ATA.
CCHI Commissioners will be in attendance and we’ll have an Exhibit Table.

5/17/10 CCHI Releases JTA Report
The analysis of the data collected through CCHI's Job/Task Analysis study
released today, confirms that the study has appropriately and accurately
identified the tasks performed by entry level healthcare interpreters and
the KSAs required to perform those tasks.
